Christmas Craft

Christmas Tree Snow Globes

I can't believe it's Christmas Eve! One more sleep :D

As it is the Christmas season I thought I'd continue to spread the Christmas cheer and make some homemade decorations. I saw this cute post on Whipperberry a little while ago and instantly knew when it came closer to Christmas I would have to give it a go myself. I was pretty happy with the results, I think they add cute touch to any fire place or side. They could even be used and lovely little gifts. They are so easy to make and cost very little.

With just a few ingredients you can create such a pretty little thing. All you need is a jar, I simply washed out at empty jam jar. You'll also need some miniature Christmas trees, which I come across in my local garden center when I was hunting for my Christmas tree, at 99p a pack they were quite the bargain :) and finally some fake snow, which I found in a pound shop.

Once you have all your ingredients you just need to follow these few simple steps. Firstly secure you little tree to the inside of your jar lid, gluing it to the lid is probably the best and easiest way to do this. Next add a little about of fake snow into your jar, now the amount depends on your personal opinion, I added a few teaspoons, but I suggest testing it, you can always put more in or take some out until you get the perfect amount. Finally, screw the lid back onto the jar, making sure it is on tightly and then turn it upside down. I added some Christmas ribbon around the lid to make it more festive. And Voila, its's complete!

I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial. Merry Christmas!

10. Newlook Christmas Earrings 11. Cath Kidson Christmas Sack

So Christmas is just around the corner, not long now eeekkkk!! I thought I’d write a post for those late Christmas shoppers and those with not a lot left to get or spend. These are just some of my ideas for little stocking fillers or secret Santa presents. All are under £15 and most are under £10.

I think all of these are really cute and lovely presents. I absolutely love the robin tshirts, I would quite like to receive this and would defiantly wear it for Christmas dinner. A nice way to spread the Christmas cheer without getting too hot, which I normally do in a Christmas jumper. The microwaveable toys are adorable; they look so cute and cuddly, I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them. They would keep you warm on a cold winter’s night for sure. I personally think the Christmas Magnets are hilarious; they would keep me entertained for hours.

I hope you liked these stocking fillers and they have given you some Christmas inspiration either for this year or next :)

Christmas

‘The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear’

Elf has got to be one of, if not The best Christmas film of all time. It doesn't feel quite like Christmas until I've sat down, all cosy on the sofa and watched this. Just a fun, happy film.
I do love the Christmas season, although it can be stressful with the pressure of buying the perfect gifts for your loved ones and realising once again that you've left it all till the last minute. Some things will just never change, I think it’s half the fun sometimes, once it’s all done and you think to yourself what was I worrying about.
With not a lot of time left till the big jolly man squeezes down our chimneys and leave us lovely present, I hope everyone’s in the Christmassy spirit.

It smells like Christmas in my house with this beautiful Christmas tree, decorated by yours truly, blasting the Christmas tunes as I did :)
With only 8 more sleeps left time the big day, I hope everyone’s has at least felt a little Christmas cheer. Happy shopping.
